What does a day in the life of a Cook look like?

Our Cooks play a key role in serving nutritious home-cooked meals while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and health and safety:

• Producing varied, tasty menus for our residents, considering individual dietary requirements
• Providing special diets where necessary
• Cleaning and washing up after meals and ensuring overall kitchen cleanliness
• Preparing and serving meals
• Guiding and coaching the kitchen team
• Stock control; stock replenishing/ordering
• Managing Food Health and Safety requirements, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date

Minimum requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have experience working as a Cook, with the ability to accommodate various dietary requirements. Additionally, you must hold relevant qualifications and Food Hygiene Certificates, and be familiar with all applicable regulations.
