Day to Day Duties

As a Cafe Chef, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and presenting dishes to high standards
• Cooking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
• Participating in menu planning and developing daily specials
• Managing stock levels and preparing food orders from suppliers
• Opening the café in the morning and tidying/closing at the end of the day
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to at all times

Requirements

As a Cafe Chef, you will need:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen
• A passion for food and customer service
• Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• High standards of hygiene and attention to detail
• Organisational skills
• Reliability
• Self-motivated
• Flexibility and willingness to take on various tasks
• Team player
• First Aid trained
• Experience in a cafe or food service environment
