Job summary

Exemplar Health Care in Leigh is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents at Lakeview care home. You will work 40 hours weekly, 8am–6pm, at the Leigh location, delivering meals that support health and wellbeing.

You will develop menus, cater to dietary requirements and maintain high hygiene standards while collaborating with the catering team to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook in a care environment is desirable.
• Ability to create balanced, nutritious menus for varied dietary needs.
• Strong teamwork and communication with staff and residents.

Are you an experienced Cook looking for a new challenge? Join us as our new Cook at Lakeview care home in Wigan.

In this role, youll cook delicious, healthy and nutritious meals for the people we support in our care home.

Meal times are an important part of our daily routine, even moreseo for those living in care homes.

In this role, youll ensure that everyone has a positive dining experience, to increase nutritional intake, promote social interaction and build a sense of community.
