Job summary

Techbelt Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operative to cut, fabricate, and assemble conveyor belt materials, following technical drawings and strict quality standards. You will operate cutting tools and sealing equipment, with full training provided, and contribute to meeting production schedules.

The role involves standing for long periods, repetitive manual work, and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or fabrication (plastics, fabrics, or similar preferred).
• Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Comfortable with hands-on, repetitive work and standing for long periods.
• Reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions.
• Forklift experience and truck license required.
• Sewing machine experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Driving licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, fabricating, vulcanising, and assembling conveyor belt materials.
• Measuring accurately and working from technical drawings and specifications.
• Operating cutting tools, sealing equipment, and welding machinery (full training provided).
• Manufacturing products in line with production schedules and quality standards.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Packaging finished belts and preparing orders for shipment.
