Job summary

Vincere is expanding its residential conveyancing team in the Essex area and seeks an experienced fee earner who can run files end-to-end, build trusted client relationships and help the team grow. You will manage a varied caseload with support to deliver a high-quality client experience.

Applicants should have 3+ years’ PQE in UK residential conveyancing and be qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEx, with strong communication and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PQE in UK residential conveyancing.
• Qualified as Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEx.
• Proven ability to run a residential caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical understanding of freehold/leasehold transactions and lender requirements.
• Excellent communication with clients, agents, lenders and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing 25–30 new residential conveyancing files per month.
• Handling matters from instruction to completion including: freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity.
• Advising clients clearly and proactively throughout the transaction.
• Supporting business development activities and local networking.

Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer / Legal Executive (3+ PQE)

Salary: £45,000–£60,000 DOE

Location: Essex area

Our client is growing its residential conveyancing team in the Essex area and is looking for an experienced fee earner who enjoys running files end-to-end, building trusted client relationships, and being part of a forward-moving practice. The opportunity

You will join a well-established conveyancing function and take ownership of a varied residential caseload, with the support and infrastructure to deliver a high-quality client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Managing 25–30 new residential conveyancing files per month
• Handling matters from instruction to completion, including:
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
• Advising clients clearly and proactively throughout the transaction
• Supporting business development activities (relationship building, referrals, local networking where appropriate)

Requirements (skills and experience)

• 3+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in UK residential conveyancing
• Qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
• Proven ability to run a residential caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong technical understanding of:
  • Freehold/leasehold transactions
  • Title investigation and reporting
  • Exchange/completion processes
  • Lender requirements and compliance
• Excellent communication skills (clients, agents, lenders and internal stakeholders)

Desirable (not essential)

• Experience with new build and/or shared ownership matters

Location and working arrangements

• Office-based role in the Essex area
• Full-time, permanent
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm
