Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, legal executive or licensed conveyancer with at least 5 years' PQE in residential property.
• Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of SRA and CQS compliance and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Managing a residential property caseload to a high standard on a day-to-day basis.
• Advising clients on residential property matters and providing clear, practical guidance.
• Building and developing new workload at the Chelmsford office in collaboration with local agents and professionals.
• Maintaining high standards in legal reporting and documentation.
• Supporting compliance with SRA and CQS regulatory requirements, including internal audits.
• Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues within the team.
• Working collaboratively with remote solicitors where appropriate.
• Ensuring confidentiality and data security across all client interactions.
