Mackinnons Solicitors LLP in Aberdeen area are seeking an enthusiastic Conveyancing Solicitor to join our well-established team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role covers residential and rural conveyancing, handling sales, purchases, remortgages, and title work.

You will guide clients through the process, examine title deeds, draft documents, manage a busy caseload, and contribute to client relationships and business development.

Qualifications

Qualified Solicitor in Scotland.
Experience in residential conveyancing essential.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently, yet work as part of the conveyancing and estate agency teams.
Full driving licence for branch office cover if required.

Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions.
Guide clients through sale and purchase processes.
Examine title deeds and report issues to clients/lenders.
Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients.
Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
Manage own workload and time management.

Mackinnons Solicitors LLP are seeking an enthusiastic, personable and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor on a full time, permanent basis to join our well-established team providing a high-quality legal service based in Cults and Deeside. The role offers the opportunity to deal with an interesting and varied workload covering residential and rural conveyancing. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for property law to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of title.
To guide clients through the sale and purchase process and make the process as straightforward as possible.
To examine title deeds and report back to clients/lenders on any relevant issues.
Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients.
Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
Manage own workload and time management.
Maintain strong client relationships.
Contributing to business development and networking initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Solicitor in Scotland.
Previous experience in residential conveyancing essential.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently, yet also a “team player” within the conveyancing and estate agency teams.
Proactive and client-focused approach.
Full driving license (for branch office cover if required).
