Job summary

JS Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking a motivated Conveyancing Paralegal to support a busy conveyancing team in the UK. You will assist fee earners from instruction through to completion on residential property transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The role involves drafting documents, conducting searches, and liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors. A friendly, professional approach and the ability to work well in a small team are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Paralegal / Legal Assistant in a Conveyancing team is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and conveyancing case management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• A client-focused approach with a professional and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the management of a busy caseload of Residential Property files (freehold and leasehold)
• Preparing contract packs and other legal documentation
• Conducting searches and reviewing results
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
• Drafting legal correspondence and supporting documents
• Handling post-completion matters including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
• Providing general administrative support to fee earners
