Job summary

Huntress is recruiting a Paralegal for a Leeds-based Securitisation team. The role requires a minimum of 6 months' conveyancing experience and offers the chance to work alongside experienced Solicitors and Partners on a varied caseload.

You will support transactions from instruction to completion, manage deadlines, handle title checks and Land Registry documentation, and liaise with clients and third parties. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' conveyancing experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Experience managing a busy workload and prioritising deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and approachable telephone manner.
• Strong administration skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player.
• Methodical, proactive and commercially minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Support Solicitors and Partners with a varied portfolio of property transactions.
• Manage allocated tasks and progress work to deadlines.
• Review property titles and obtain Land Registry documentation.
• Carry out property due diligence, searches and title checks.
• Liaise with Land Registry, Local Authorities, clients and third parties to obtain information.
• Chase outstanding documentation and ensure files progress.
• Assist with pre-completion searches and post-completion matters.
• Provide regular updates to Solicitors and clients on progress of transactions.
• Monitor deadlines and prioritise a busy workload.
• Support colleagues within the wider team when required.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.
