Job summary

Sellick Partnership Limited - Private Practice in Leeds is seeking an experienced Property Paralegal to join a busy Real Estate & Projects team. You will work alongside Solicitors and Partners and develop your own caseload across a range of quality property transactions.

The role covers development and land agreements, Land Registry applications, due diligence reviews, and transfers. A 2:2 degree or above in Law and 3+ years of conveyancing experience are required, with strong drafting,

Qualifications

• Have a 2:2 degree or above in Law or an appropriate conversion
• Have 3+ years' experience dealing with the conveyancing process
• Have demonstrable commercial or residential property experience
• Possess strong legal research and drafting skills
• Have excellent organisation, administration and time management skills
• Are confident managing a busy workload and competing deadlines
• Have excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Can work independently while also being a supportive team player
• Are commercially aware, proactive and keen to develop
• Have strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

Responsibilities

• Supporting Solicitors and fee earners with the day-to-day running of files
• Preparing transaction summaries and reports covering development and land agreements
• Reviewing due diligence searches and assisting with reports on title
• Supporting development site acquisitions
• Assisting with land transfers and pre- and post-completion matters
• Preparing statements and submitting priority searches
• Undertaking Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions
• Drafting ancillary documentation including Deeds of Covenant, Land Registry certificates and Transfers
• Building and developing your own caseload
• Working closely with the wider team and contributing to business development and training initiatives
