Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Property Lawyers to deliver high-quality conveyancing services.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee performance using a structured skills matrix.
• Manage workload distribution and resource planning.
• Support development plans and ongoing training.
• Lead on people management issues including performance improvement, absence, and recruitment.
• Act as a key escalation point for service queries or complaints.
• Contribute to departmental change initiatives and cross-team collaboration.
• Work with senior management on budgeting, salary reviews, and business planning.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external compliance standards.

The Role

As Conveyancing Team Manager, youll oversee the day-to-day operations of a team of Property Lawyers, ensuring excellent service delivery and high performance across the board. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing team performance, developing legal talent, and embedding a positive, inclusive team culture.

This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone with both deep conveyancing knowledge and a genuine passion for people development.
