Job summary

Sort Legal Limited on Gosforth High Street is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Case Handler to manage a personal caseload of freehold and registered sale and purchase transactions, ensuring timely delivery in line with SLAs and regulatory requirements.

You will supervise Conveyancing Assistants, guide file reviews, and manage key stages from title approval and enquiries to exchanges and completions, while maintaining client communications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years’ experience handling your own caseload of freehold and registered sale and purchase transactions.
• Knowledge of conveyancing regulations including the CLC Code of Conduct, AML and data protection laws.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to prioritise under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload, ensuring timely and efficient handling of transactions.
• Supervise Conveyancing Assistants, reviewing sales files and signing off contracts, exchanges, and completions.
• Handle key stages of purchase transactions, including title approval, raising and resolving enquiries, and client reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SLA commitments.
• Conduct regular file reviews to ensure cases progress appropriately.
• Act as the first point of contact for client and introducer complaints, resolving concerns promptly.
