Job summary

Workpoint Recruitment Ltd is assisting a friendly Wales-based conveyancing firm in Abercynon to recruit a full-time Conveyancer. The role offers on-site parking and a Monday–Friday 9am–5pm schedule.

You will handle up to 50 residential conveyancing files, provide guidance to junior staff, ensure compliance with SRA rules, and support senior management in recruitment and client relations.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum residential conveyancing experience.
• Complying with the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
• Internal CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently deal with all legal matters regarding conveyancing including residential sale/purchase, transfer of equity, remortgage, lease and bridging finance.
• Provide information and assistance to junior members of conveyancing team and support staff including training, coaching and mentoring.
• Effectively manage your own caseload.
• Adhere to SRA regulations including SRA accounts rules.
• Assist the Head of Conveyancing and Managing Director with recruiting and inducting junior fee earners and support team members.
• Maintain existing client, estate agent and mortgage broker relationships.

Job description

We are looking for a full-time Conveyancer to work at a friendly and growing conveyancing law firm in Wales, walking distance to/from Abercynon train station and with free on-site parking. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 50 files maximum workload.

Main duties:

• Proficiently deal with all legal matters regarding conveyancing including residential sale/purchase, transfer of equity, remortgage, lease and bridging finance.
• Provide information and assistance to junior members of conveyancing team and support staff including where appropriate training, coaching and mentoring.
• Effectively manage your own caseload
• Adhere to SRA regulations including SRA accounts rules
• Assist the Head of Conveyancing and Managing Director with recruiting and inducting junior fee earners and support team members.
• Maintain existing client, estate agent and mortgage broker relationships

Essential:

• 3 years minimum residential conveyancing experience
• Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Office
• Complying with the Law Society s Conveyancing Quality Scheme
• Internal CRM systems

• Completion of LPC or current valid practicing certificate

The company offer a competitive salary of up to £50,000 p.a. depending on experience with free on-site parking, pension, 36 days holiday p.a. plus bank holidays etc.
