Job summary

Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor to join a well-established, multi-service law firm in Liverpool, Merseyside. Responsibilities

• Manage a residential conveyancing caseload including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and remortgages.
• Aim to earn fees by meeting individual and departmental targets.
• Arrange and attend client meetings, providing a professional service.
• Negotiate with clients and other professionals to achieve objectives.
• Attend court and other off-site appointments when required.
• Monitor and update electronic portals and maintain accurate, up-to-date files.
• Stay up to date with changes in conveyancing law, procedure and compliance, including AML/KYC and CQS requirements.

This is a great opportunity for a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor to join a busy residential team, managing a genuinely varied caseload of sales, purchases and re-mortgages.

About the Job

As the incoming Conveyancer or Solicitor based in the Liverpool office, you will manage a mixed caseload of residential conveyancing matters, working closely with a Solicitor for advice and guidance while using your own initiative to progress files. This job offers genuine variety across freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and re-mortgages, within a friendly and supportive team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a residential conveyancing caseload covering freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and re-mortgages
• Earning fees by working towards individual and departmental targets
• Arranging and attending client meetings, providing a professional and client-focused service
• Negotiating with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives
• Attending court and other off-site appointments when required
• Monitoring and updating electronic portals and maintaining accurate, up to date files
• Keeping up to date with changes in conveyancing law, procedure and compliance, including AML/KYC and CQS requirements

About You

You will be an experienced Licensed Conveyancer or a qualified Solicitor with a strong background in residential conveyancing. This position will suit someone who is organised, client-focused and comfortable managing their own caseload with support and guidance from a Solicitor.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Ideally at least three years' experience in residential conveyancing
• Experience managing a residential caseload including sales, purchases and re-mortgages
• Good working knowledge of conveyancing procedures and compliance requirements, including AML/KYC
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues
• Proactive, organised and able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
