Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well-established and forward-thinking law firm based in Chester, Cheshire. This is a full-time, permanent job position offering flexible hybrid working, 25 days' annual leave, an additional day off for your birthday, paid time off between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed, a Simply Health healthcare cash scheme and an early finish on Fridays. Job Responsibilities

Working as a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will manage a varied residential property caseload while delivering a responsive and client-focused service. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a broad caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases and other general residential property transactions within your experience.
• Building strong relationships with clients, referrers and other professional contacts.
• Communicating confidently with clients by telephone and email, with occasional face-to-face contact where required.
• Taking ownership of your workload and progressing matters efficiently within a busy conveyancing environment.
• Supporting business development and relationship-building activity as part of the wider residential property team.

Person Specification

Applications are welcomed from residential conveyancing professionals at different levels of qualification and post-qualification experience. To be considered for this Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner job, you will ideally demonstrate:

• Broad residential conveyancing experience rather than a narrowly focused property background.
• The ability to manage your own caseload with an appropriate level of independence and support.
• Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, or strong equivalent fee-earning experience in residential conveyancing.
• Applications from newly qualified lawyers will also be considered where the majority of training has been gained within residential conveyancing.
• A friendly, easy-going and professional approach, with strong client care and communication skills.
• Confidence working in a busy environment and dealing with clients and referrers directly.
• A willingness to contribute to business development and long-term client relationships.
