Job summary

G2 Legal Limited in Leeds seeks an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a growing legal services organisation in a specialist technical support role. This is a non-fee earning position.

You will provide technical legal support and guidance to residential conveyancing teams, focusing on complex and non-standard transactions, with responsibilities including reviewing titles and advising on leasehold matters and equity release transactions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience handling freehold, leasehold, unregistered, new build and shared ownership transactions from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support and guidance to conveyancing teams on complex matters
• Reviewing and checking freehold, leasehold, unregistered, new build and shared ownership titles
• Advising on leasehold matters, including deeds of variation and lease extensions
• Acting for lenders in connection with equity release purchase transactions
• Acting for lenders on repossession sales
• Liaising with Team Managers to ensure urgent and complex files are identified and dealt with promptly
• Auditing files and providing constructive feedback and guidance to Conveyancers where required

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a highly successful and growing legal services organisation in a specialist technical support role. This is a non-fee earning position.

This position would suit a qualified Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer or CLC-qualified professional with significant residential conveyancing experience and a strong technical understanding of complex property transactions.

You will provide technical legal support, advice and assistance to residential conveyancing teams, with a particular focus on complex and non-standard transactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support and guidance to conveyancing teams on complex matters
• Reviewing and checking freehold, leasehold, unregistered, new build and shared ownership titles
• Advising on leasehold matters, including deeds of variation and lease extensions
• Acting for lenders in connection with equity release purchase transactions.
• Acting for lenders on repossession sales

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

• At least 3 years' experience handling freehold, leasehold, unregistered, new build and shared ownership transactions from start to finish
• Strong technical knowledge of complex residential conveyancing matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice and constructive feedback
• Strong investigatory and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly assess complex files, identify key issues and reach practical solutions

It would be particularly advantageous if you have experience working within a high-volume residential conveyancing environment.
