G2legal seeks an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Property team in Cambridge. This full-time, permanent role offers high-quality work, progression and a competitive salary.

You will manage a varied caseload including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity, while liaising with clients and third parties to drive transactions to completion.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or chartered legal executive or equivalent.
• Experienced in managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload with confidence and autonomy.
• Skilled in handling complex matters such as Shared Ownership, New Builds, Lease Extensions and title defect resolution.
• Excellent communication and client service skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and third parties to ensure smooth progression of transactions.
• Conclude matters efficiently while meeting service levels, quality standards and client expectations.
• Handle post-completion work independently and file closures accurately.
• Demonstrate knowledge of matters involving personal representatives, attorneys, trusts and matrimonial considerations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements.

• Manage a diverse caseload including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity

• Handle all post completion work independently, ensuring files are closed accurately and promptly

• Build strong working relationships with external providers and develop professional networks

About You

• A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or equivalent
• Experienced in managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload with confidence and autonomy

• Comfortable resolving technical issues and providing clear, practical solutions
