Job summary

Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a leading Yorkshire Legal 500 firm in Leeds. You will manage your own caseload from instruction to completion across freehold/leasehold sales, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions.

The role offers a quality-focused, non-volume caseload with hybrid working (2 days at home), a salary up to £50,000, quarterly bonus, flexible working, and clear career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experienced Residential Conveyancer or equivalent (Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or Solicitor)
• Strong communication, client care and proactive approach required
• Ability to manage own varied caseload from instruction to completion

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handle transactions including: freehold and leasehold sales/purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build, shared ownership where applicable.
• Provide high-quality service with a focus on client care and accuracy

You will manage your own varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, handling transactions including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• New build transactions
• Shared ownership matters (where applicable)

This is a quality-focused role with a manageable caseload, allowing you to provide an exceptional level of service to clients.
