Apprentify Group is seeking a results-driven CRO specialist based in Wilmslow to own conversion rate optimisation across the Group's five brands. You will analyse performance, ideate hypotheses and run rigorous A/B tests across websites, landing pages and paid creative to drive measurable growth.
Working closely with the Performance Marketing team, you'll develop a structured testing roadmap, apply UX/UI principles and present clear recommendations backed by data.
Apprentify Group is a portfolio of six companies, each with its own culture, personality and people. We're a fast-growing group operating across multiple brands, with ambitious plans for continued growth.
We need someone ready to own conversion rate optimisation across the Group's five brands, using data, experimentation, creative and UX thinking to improve the customer journey and deliver measurable growth.
Location: Wilmslow, Cheshire – office based
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Start: Immediate or near-term
Travel: Occasional travel to our offices in Tadcaster, Manchester City Centre, Birmingham and London
DBS check required for all candidates
The real work:Most of your time is spent analysing performance, identifying opportunities and turning insight into action. You'll design and run A/B tests across websites, landing pages and paid creative, optimise the end-to-end lead journey, and use data to understand what's working, what's not and what we should test next.
You’ll have genuine creative and analytical ownership, developing versioned creative, applying UX/UI principles and building a structured testing roadmap across five brands.
It's a fast-moving environment where testing and optimisation are continuous. The expectation isn't to run the occasional experiment, it's to consistently look for ways to improve conversion, prove impact and scale what works.
The environment: This is an office-based role where you'll work closely with the Performance Marketing team and wider brand teams. You won't be micromanaged, but you will be expected to take ownership of your channels, back your ideas with data and be accountable for measurable results. Apprentify is growing quickly; processes and priorities will evolve, and the people who thrive here see that as an opportunity to make an impact.
You’ll join the Performance Marketing team, working closely with the Digital Acquisition Manager, brand teams, design, data and paid media specialists.
Reports to: Performance Marketing Director
How we work: Clear expectations, genuine ownership and a strong focus on measurable impact. We value people who are inquisitive, ambitious and willing to challenge how things are currently done.
This isn't a role where you can run one test, write a report and move on. You'll be managing multiple brands, channels, tests and priorities at once, while continuously looking for the next opportunity to improve performance.
You’ll need to be comfortable with pace, accountability and ambiguity. Your ideas will be challenged, your results will be scrutinised and you'll need to be able to explain with evidence why something worked, why it didn't and what you recommend doing next.
Recruiter call: An initial conversation with our Talent team to discuss your experience, motivation, salary expectations and key logistics, including notice period and right to work.
Stage 2 interview – Competency interview (Microsoft Teams): A 45-minute interview with the Performance Marketing Director, and Digital Acquisition Manager. We'll explore your experience running CRO and A/B tests, your analytical approach, stakeholder communication and how you demonstrate the key attributes we're looking for.
Stage 3 – Task, presentation & final discussion (in person): You'll be asked to prepare a short CRO test plan or case study in advance and present your thinking to the panel at our Wilmslow HQ. You'll then take part in a deeper discussion around your approach, experience and suitability for the role. This stage will last approximately 2 hours.
Please note: The postholder will be required to undergo appropriate pre-employment checks prior to starting work, including a reference check.
