Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Controls & Robotics Engineer in Birmingham to own automation projects from concept through to commissioning. You will develop PLC software, program and integrate robots, and create HMI solutions across diverse sectors.

The role involves working with customers, supporting builds and testing, and delivering innovative robotic and factory automation solutions with long-term career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience programming PLC control systems.
• Robot programming experience.
• HMI development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC software for bespoke automation systems.
• Program and integrate industrial robots.
• Design and develop HMI solutions.
• Support machine build, testing and commissioning activities.
• Produce controls specifications and sequencing documentation.
• Work directly with customers throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to innovative robotic and factory automation solutions.
