SALARY: Up to £55,000

LOCATION: Nottingham

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Derby, Loughborough, Newark, Worksop, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Sheffield, Melton Mowbray, Burton on Trent, Matlock

The goal of this role is to provide our industrial manufacturing / process clients with a complete design solution – cradle to grave responsibility (from a design perspective) for projects from initial consultation with the client through to design, manufacture, installation and commissioning.

The core of this role will be working with the client on completion of design projects for PLC / SCADA controls / industrial weighting / materials handling systems.

In addition, you will become involved in:
· Initial sales support / consultation
· Support the manufacturing process from a design perspective
· Installation / Commissioning of the machinery at the client site (anywhere across the UK)

We are super open on sector! Your experience could be from any industry. That said, you MUST have a proven track record as an Electrical Design Engineer, working in an industrial environment. If your background is Oil & Gas / Mining / Construction / Cement / Materials Handling / Warehousing / Automation / Robotics / Food, Pharmaceutical, Medical Process or Packaging machinery etc. we’re keen to find out more.

Any experience of process machinery (PPMA) would be an obvious bonus, and an understanding of PLC’s would be an advantage.

Beyond criteria – this is the important stuff:
· You’re a hard worker who takes ownership of their projects – or at least wants to in a new role.
· You’re ambitious and want to broaden your horizons beyond electrical design.
· Are you good speaking with clients? Managing our projects from cradle to grave you’ll get to know how they tick, and understand their requirements better than they do.

We’re a highly respected specialist integrator of PC / PLC / SCADA systems- providing process equipment and machinery to blue chip UK customers. We are a system integrator for Rockwell Automation – supplying Allen Bradley PLC & SCADA systems.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Controls Engineer – Electrical Design Engineer – Electrical Design Manager – Systems Integrator – PC / PLC / SCADA systems – Control applications – Process Engineering Systems Design Engineer. Rockwell / Siemens / Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi
