Qualifications

• Time served electrical engineer with PLC/HMI experience.
• Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of gearboxes, AC/DC drives, motors and conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day engineering and maintenance to high standards.
• Work on automated machinery including conveyors, belts and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Maximise machine efficiencies with potential future supervisory duties.

The Roles

The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer (but have some multi-skilling) and have PLC systems, HMI, Drives and instrumentation and PPM/Projects manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. On a day to day basis, you will be working on automated machinery along with gearboxes, AC/DC Drives, motors, pumps, ovens, shredders, dust extraction units, conveyors, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other automated manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of development on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably, with the possibility of taking on a supervisory role in the future.
