Job summary

National Gas is seeking a hands-on professional to provide a seamless interface between the Lockerley Control Systems project team and Operations. The role emphasizes safety leadership, compliance, and practical guidance across contractors and internal teams.

You will lead technical support, review risk assessments, and participate in HAZOP/LOPA studies while maintaining authorised roles and staying close to plant operations.

Qualifications

• Procurement, Design, Delivery and Commissioning experience.
• Process Safety qualification.
• Time served apprenticeship.
• Minimum HNC/ HND Electrical or Instrumentation qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interface between the Lockerley Control Systems project team and Operations.
• Drive safety leadership and compliant delivery across main works contractors and sub-contractors.
• Attend project meetings and provide input on plant operations and limitations.
• Review risk assessments and method statements.
• Support site control and authorised roles under SCO/91 & 94.
• Remain hands-on with maintenance during project peaks and troughs.
