Job summary

Pirelli UK Tyres Ltd in Burton on Trent is seeking a Control & Systems Engineer to join the Engineering team. You will lead end-to-end control system projects across our manufacturing sites, integrating PLC/SCADA, and delivering improvements within agreed timings and budgets.

The role requires hands-on hardware and software capability, strong problem solving, and effective collaboration with PED/Engineering teams in Burton and Carlisle. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High level of general education to include English and Maths.
• Strong IT skills and experience with control software.
• Qualified in industrial software or control systems engineering to a recognised accrediting body.

Responsibilities

• Lead control and systems projects from concept to realisation within timings and budgets.
• Provide first-class engineering service across factory environments.
• Collaborate with PED/Engineering teams in Burton and Carlisle.
