Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Control Systems Engineer for one of the fastest growing Engineering Consultancies who support some of the UK's biggest projects in the Energy & Utilities sectors.

Your role will be to design, programme and test control systems on various industrial applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop then test PLC's & HMI plus SCADA packages
2. Site commissioning
3. Fault find & troubleshoot control system issues
4. Work across teams to ensure project success

Requirements:

1. Knowledge and experience in PLC programming (Rockwell, Allen Bradley and/or Siemens)
2. Knowledge of electrical design
3. Technical writing experience plus development of technical documentation and control systems
4. Proven track record of expertise in Software, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Skills & Experience:

1. Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet IP, Modbus)
2. Be familiar with industry regulations and standards in the energy and utilities industry
