Job summary

Royal IHC are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our offshore energy control systems team in Blyth with global travel.

You will design control and automation for Royal IHC equipment, write specs, develop PLC code and HMI/SCADA, support construction, commissioning and testing, and ensure delivery within time and budget.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical knowledge of Control, Automation and Safety Systems.
• Qualifications in engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
• Experience designing control & automation systems, programming PLC/HMI/SCADA, commissioning & testing.
• Involvement through full project lifecycle from design to installation and documentation.
• Experience working with marine, offshore, subsea, oil & gas or renewables markets.

Responsibilities

• Write specifications, develop PLC code and HMI/SCADA solutions for Royal IHC equipment.
• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning and testing of projects.
• Efficiently manage and prioritise workload to meet delivery targets.
• Take ownership of tasks from assignment to successful delivery within time and budget.
