Job summary

Hartland Recruitment & Advertising Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to design, commission and support PLC-based control and instrumentation projects for customers. You will test and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and drives both on site and in the office, and assist with system testing and final commissioning.

Travel to client sites is expected around 50% of the time. A strong troubleshooting mindset and knowledge of multiple PLC brands are essential to upgrade

Qualifications

• Experience programming PLCs (Schneider or other brands such as Rockwell Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
• Knowledge of HMI and drives integration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites approximately 50% of the time.
• Must have a permanent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
