We are urgently seeking a driven and self-motivated Control Systems Engineer to join a skilled engineering team within a pioneering Marine Engineering company. Working on both current and upcoming projects, you will take ownership of marine control solutions from concept through to commissioning.

Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

• Design and implement control systems for large marine systems.
• Collaborate with vessel manufacturers to provide installation guidance and develop vessel-specific system variants.
• Ensure compliance and safety in hazardous environments, including ATEX-rated installations.
• Utilize Beckhoff controllers and Structured Text programming language.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to integrate control systems into advanced marine technology solutions.
• Provide guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to final implementation, maintaining technical excellence.

Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with marine or machinery-based industrial control systems.
• Understanding of marine sector complexities is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience with ATEX/IEC-Ex rated installations is desirable.
• Proficiency with Beckhoff controllers is preferred.
• Ability to program using Structured Text is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Experience managing projects through their entire lifecycle, including commissioning and documentation.
