Experienced Control Systems Engineer who is driven and self-motivated is urgently required to join a skilled engineering team within a business that is at the forefront of innovative Marine Engineering. You will work on current and future projects, taking ownership of marine control solutions from concept through to commissioning.

Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

• Design and implement control systems for large marine systems
• Collaborate with vessel manufacturers to provide installation guidance and vessel-specific system variants
• Ensure compliance and safety in hazardous environments with ATEX rated installations
• Utilize Beckhoff systems with Structured Text programming
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to integrate control systems into advanced marine technology solutions
• Provide guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to final implementation, maintaining technical excellence

Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred
• Experience with marine or machinery-based industrial control systems
• Understanding of the marine sector's complexities is beneficial but not essential
• Experience with ATEX/IEC-Ex rated installations is desirable
• Proficiency with Beckhoff systems is desirable
• Ability to program with Structured Text is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Experience managing projects through their entire lifecycle, including commissioning and documentation
