Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Broughton is hiring a CCTV/Fire Control Room Operative on a 4 on/4 off schedule with 12-hour shifts, averaging around 42 hours a week. The role involves emergency call handling, fire alarm management, and CCTV monitoring to support aerodrome operations.

You will join a dynamic security team, require strong logs and reports, and the ability to work days/nights. Safety, integrity, and good IT skills are essential; a valid UK driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
• Valid SIA CCTV licence – (desirable).
• 1–2 years' experience in a Security Operations Centre / Control Room environment – (desirable).
• Willingness to obtain a high level of security clearance.
• Current UK Driving Licence (no endorsements).
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends, including occasional short-notice operational requirements.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Ability to produce accurate logs, reports and routine correspondence.
• Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence, professionalism and absolute integrity at all times.
