Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an organised Control Room Operator to join the security team. You will monitor CCTV, intruder and fire alarm panels, support daily operations, and ensure accurate incident recording to outline risks.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of the Private Security Industry law, health and safety for security operatives, fire safety, and emergency procedures, and you MUST hold a valid CCTV License with a five-year verifiable education or work history with

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CCTV License and have a 5-year verifiable education or work history with references.
• Knowledge of the Private Security Industry law and Health and Safety for the Private Security Operative.
• Experience in control room security and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, intruder and fire alarm panels on a daily basis.
• Escalate incidents and report Health and Safety concerns.
• Respond to emergency situations and produce accurate incident reports.

We are looking for an organised, efficient, and experienced Control Room Operator to join our security team for Mitie Business Services. You will be working within a supportive team to maintain and monitor CCTV, intruder, and fire alarm panels.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting with daily operational requirements – ensuring compliance and accurate recording of incidents to outline identified risks. As part of your role, you will be required to escal incidents, report Health and Safety concerns, and respond to emergency situations also producing accurate reports to ensure alarms are efficiently responded to.

Our ideal candidate will have awareness of the law across, The Private Security Industry, Health and Safety for the Private Security Operative, Fire Safety, Technology and Systems in the Security environment and Emergency Procedures.

If you have prior control room or security experience, a passion for delivering excellent customer service and a desire to excel, Please note: You MUST hold a valid CCTV License and have a 5-year verifiable education or work history with references.
