Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Control Room Analyst in London for a 12-month contract, 5 days onsite. The role focuses on monitoring market activity, regulatory risk, and compliance using SQL and Python.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services compliance, strong data analysis skills, and excellent stakeholder management to support risk management and tooling improvements.

Qualifications

Strong experience working in a Control Room, Compliance, Risk, or Regulatory environment within financial services.
In-depth understanding of financial market regulations and compliance frameworks.
Ability to analyse large volumes of data and make risk-based decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and investigate real-time compliance and market activity alerts.
Analyse position and transaction data using SQL and Python.
Assess regulatory obligations related to disclosure requirements, wall crossings, and position limits.
Escalate and document potential compliance risks where required.
Partner with technology and engineering teams to improve monitoring processes and internal reporting tools.
Maintain and enhance scripts used for compliance and risk monitoring.
Contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of Control Room operations and workflows.
