Trant Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Control Panel Test Engineer for our workshop near Totton, Southampton. The role focuses on inspecting, testing and verifying control panels, MCCs and automation systems to ensure safety, reliability and compliance with BS EN 61439-2 and client specifications.
You will support FATs, prepare handover documentation and assist with fault finding during test phases to guarantee products are fit for purpose and ready for dispatch.

Te-Tech design, custom build and install a wide range of high quality control panels, motor control centres (MCCs) and automation systems, offering conventional, intelligent and withdrawable systems with outstanding reliability and functionality. We are currently looking for a Control Panel Test Engineer to join our workshop based near Totton, Southampton.
The Role: The Control Panel Test Engineer is responsible for the inspection, testing, and verification of control panels, MCCs, and automation systems prior to dispatch. The role ensures all products are compliant with BS EN 61439-2, client requirements, and internal quality procedures, providing assurance that assemblies are safe, functional, and fit for purpose.
