Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Control Group Manager – Compliance at VP level to oversee information barriers and watch/ restricted list management. You will advise on regulatory requirements and ensure alignment with policy across Research, Investment Banking and Capital Markets.

Responsibilities include supervision of staff, training, and contributing to audits and control enhancements in a demanding, cross-border environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience, typically at VP level, in a Control Group or equivalent compliance function.
• Familiarity with UK/US compliance requirements including insider dealing, information barriers and market conduct.
• Strong analytical, communication and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Watch and Restricted List and ensure proper communications with private side deal teams.
• Provide interpretation of policies; advise on regulatory requirements and Takeover Code.
• Oversee training, audits and annual reviews; develop/improve control processes and surveillance.
• Chaperone and gatekeep research communications under relevant settlements and policies.
