Job Description:

Control and Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Cumbria

Salary Range: £40-50k

*** Due to the nature of the role & the industry, UK SC clearance is required ***

We are seeking a Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team and work closely with the emerging team to develop software solutions and interfaces that meet business needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development, integration, testing, and validation of complex submarine systems.
  • Developing and managing requirements and acceptance criteria for systems or products across systems, platforms, or programs.
  • Supporting documentation for design reviews, including diagrams, technical specifications, calculations, and design evidence.
  • Executing testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Supporting learning and development activities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant STEM degree or equivalent qualification with an engineering background.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Knowledge of Mathworks tools, especially in control system modeling.
