Job summary

Project Partners is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the rising main programme and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Apsley/Hemel Hempstead area. The role focuses on timely delivery, budget control, and quality, with liaison across clients, engineers, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have civil engineering and wastewater utilities background, a full clean driving licence, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil engineering and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing NEC contracts and client relationships.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Identify and assign resources to meet programme requirements.
• Monitor costs and ensure projects stay within budget.
• Develop and manage project schedules to hit milestones.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain clear client communications and progress updates.
• Lead subcontractors and site supervisors for seamless delivery.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain project documentation and senior management reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices.
