Job summary

Abatec Recruitment's client, a civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, seeks a Contracts Manager to lead multiple water infrastructure projects within a major AMP8 framework in the UK. The role focuses on contract delivery, client engagement and seamless coordination across project teams.

You will oversee mobilisation through to completion, ensuring safety, quality and commercial targets are met, while developing strong relationships with the client and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering NEC contracts and change control on large projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong client/stakeholder management and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for contract delivery, programme, cost and performance.
• Manage project teams including Site Managers, Engineers and Commercial staff.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as senior point of contact.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, programmes and commercial targets.
• Manage NEC contracts, changes, compensation events and commercial risk.
• Ensure projects meet quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery, productivity and profitability.
