Platinum Search Recruitment Limited is partnering with an established contractor to appoint a Contracts Manager for small works and framework delivery up to 1 million. You will oversee multiple projects, lead site teams, manage commercial performance and ensure safe, high-quality delivery across public and private sector frameworks.

The role requires strong client relationships, financial oversight, and a track record in minor works or refurbishment.

Qualifications

• At least five years' relevant construction experience with a contractor.
• Experience managing multiple projects, minor works, refurbishment or other varied construction packages.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, costs, risks and delivery programmes.
• Experience coordinating site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Practical approach to problem-solving and decision‑making.
• Experience using MS Office and project planning software such as Asta.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent construction and small works projects, ensuring delivery against programme, budget and quality.
• Build strong relationships with clients and maintain regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate site managers, working foremen, tradespeople and subcontractors.
• Monitor costs, commercial performance, contract risks and opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Visit sites to monitor progress, resolve issues and ensure works meet standards.
• Support tender submissions, estimating, project planning and logistics.
• Identify delivery challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Work with commercial colleagues and senior management to support successful outcomes.
