A regional main contractor delivering new-build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects across London and the surrounding counties. Established for over 20 years, the business has grown steadily, successfully delivering schemes across the commercial, education, residential, industrial and leisure sectors. Typical projects range up to £30m.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across London. The role will involve managing schemes from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring they are delivered to programme, budget, and the highest quality standards. Projects will include a mix of refurbishment, fit-out, and structural works across a range of sectors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion.
• Lead project delivery teams, ensuring effective coordination between site managers, contractors, and consultants.
• Develop and maintain programmes, monitoring progress against key milestones and financial targets.
• Ensure strict compliance with health & safety legislation, building regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain strong client relationships, attend meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Manage contractual obligations, including variations, change control, and administration of client instructions.
• Drive quality, design compliance, and risk management across all projects.
• Support and mentor project managers and site-based teams to ensure consistent high delivery standards.

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, managing multiple large-scale projects.
• Strong background in commercial interiors, Cat A/B fit-outs, refurbishments, and structural works.
