Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Manager to take ownership of a new social housing repairs contract for an expanding facilities management company. The role is office-based in the Newry area, with monthly client visits to Belfast and the responsibility for delivering high-quality fabric repairs across multiple properties.

You will manage the commercial side of the contract, support the Commercial Manager, and prepare monthly P&L statements, with a salary in the £45,000–£55,000

Qualifications

• Proven track record in contract or facilities management.
• Willing to commute to Newry and Belfast monthly.

Are you a Contracts Manager or Facilities Manager looking to take ownership of a high-profile social housing repairs contract with an industry-leading facilities management company, offering an office-based role, excellent progression opportunities, a company car and the autonomy to drive the success of a new contract?

This is an opportunity to join a building maintenance and property development specialist, managing over 30,000 properties across Ireland. They provide new build development of residential and commercial property schemes and are looking for a Contracts Manager to lead their newly won responsive repair contract.

In this role you will oversee the delivery of a responsive repairs contract all from office. You will work with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver high-quality service. You will manage the delivery of building fabric repairs including carpentry, windows, plumbing, roofing and general repairs to social housing. You will also lead the commercial side of the contract, support the Commercial Manager and produce monthly P+L statements.

This role would suit a Contract Manager, Project Manager or Facility Manager from a building fabric maintenance background looking to join a rapidly growing company and a chance to have full ownership of their new contract.

The Role:

• Manage the delivery of responsive repairs for social housing
• Plumbing, roofing, window, floor, door, walls and ceiling repairs

• Client visits once a month to Belfast
• Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5pm)

The Person:
