Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Manager or Project Manager from a Building Services background to take ownership of high-value projects, including a data centre contract, with a company car and flexible working arrangements.

The role is primarily on-site, managing 1–2 contracts from inception to completion, coordinating with Design, QS and Procurement, and acting as the main point of contact for clients while ensuring safe, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Manager or Project Manager in Building Services.
• Able to manage contract lifecycles from inception to completion.
• Willing to commute to site in Derry/Londonderry and office in Newtownabbey.
• Experience coordinating with Design, QS and Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage your diary and schedule meetings.
• Coordinate subcontractors and liaise with Design, QS and Procurement.
• Oversee the full contract and project lifecycle on-site.
• Working hours Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Friday 2:30pm finish.

Are you a Contracts Manager or Project Manager from a Building Services or M&E background looking to take ownership of high-value projects while enjoying a company car, flexible working, and genuine long-term career progression?

This is a great opportunity to join a leading nationwide Mechanical and Electrical building services for the industrial and commercial industries. They design, manufacture, install and maintain building services and after continued growth and new contracts, they are looking for a Contract Manager to lead these new projects.

In this role you will primarily be working on site with their new contract at a date centre. You will be assigned 1 or 2 contracts and be responsible for managing the project lifecycle through to completion. This includes managing the financial aspect of the contract, working closely with other departments (Design, QS, Procurement), managing contractors and being to point of contact for clients.

This role would suit a Contracts Manager or Project Manager within the Building Services looking join a company with a steady pipeline of projects offering fantastic progression.

The Role:

• Manage your own diary, setting up meetings and appointments


• Manage subcontractors and lease with other departments


• Mainly onsite looking after the full contract and project lifecycle


• Mon-Thurs (8am-5pm, 2:30pm finish on Friday)
