Job summary

Checkmate Fire Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee passive fire protection projects from mobilisation to completion. You will lead site teams and subcontractors, ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while upholding client expectations and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Passive fire protection experience in compartmentation or fire doors.
Experience as Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS Management Card, and First Aid at Work.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Oversee passive fire protection projects from mobilisation through to completion.
Lead and support site teams, supervisors and subcontractors.
Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, quality standards and health & safety rules.
Maintain strong client relationships and attend progress meetings.
Monitor programme delivery, progress, and commercial targets.
Collaborate with Commercial, Compliance and Operations.
Ensure accurate reporting and project records are maintained.
