Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead passive fire protection projects across the UK, based in the West Midlands. The role involves ownership from pre-start to completion, ensuring safety, programme adherence and budget control while delivering high standards.

You will manage multiple projects valued between £2m-£4m, lead site teams and subcontractors, maintain commercial oversight, and build strong client and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Background in passive fire protection, within housing or commercial environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of fire doors, fire stopping and compartmentation systems.
• Experience managing large-scale projects with multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple passive fire protection projects valued between £2m-£4m.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver quality installations and compliant solutions.
• Maintain strong commercial oversight including budgets, programmes, and profitability.
• Build and manage relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
