Job summary

Headley Professional Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for a leading construction main contractor in York. You will oversee multiple projects across the Yorkshire region, ensuring delivery within time, cost and quality targets.

You will manage project teams, liaise with clients and sub-contractors, and drive health & safety and environmental standards while supporting commercial goals and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering a wide range of construction projects including new builds and refurbishments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and technology.
• Excellent people management and leadership capabilities.
• Solid commercial awareness and ability to manage project finances.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams across multiple sites and programmes.
• Produce project plans and set programme targets.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and project management teams.
• Oversee selection of sub-contractors for projects.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to meet financial targets.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are followed.
