Job summary

Headley Professional Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Project Manager for our client in York. The Project Manager will be on site, overseeing large regional projects valued around £7–£15 million and reporting to a Visiting Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating site staff and contractors, planning activities, and ensuring progress and cost control in line with programmes while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous project management experience for construction main contractors.
• Ability to plan construction operations and produce construction programmes.
• Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of construction processes.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and people management skills.
• Academic qualification (HNC, HND or degree in a construction-related subject) would be an advantage.
• SMSTS, First Aid, Black Managers CSCS card, Asbestos Awareness, Working at height, Scaffold inspection.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Headley Professional Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Project Manager for our client in York. The client is a construction main contractor who focuses on new build and refurbishment construction projects between £2-15 million in value across the Yorkshire region. They work on projects in the commercial, industrial, education, health, heritage, retail, leisure and residential sectors. Projects can be anywhere in the Yorkshire region. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects throughout the region.

They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the projects team as No1 on site working on their large projects which will be in the region of £7-15 million in value. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of site and report into a visiting Contracts Manager.
