Curo is seeking a Contracts Manager for Major and Specialist Repairs in Bath. You’ll oversee more than £5m of work each year, shape how projects are planned and delivered, and drive improvements to safety, quality and customer experience.

Working with a team of Project Surveyors, you’ll develop in-house capability, manage budgets, supervise contractors, and ensure CDM 2015 compliance. This role offers hybrid working and real opportunities to influence how work is done and to grow your team.

Formación

• Built-environment qualification such as building surveying, engineering or architecture (MRICS/CIOB) or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience of carrying out client duties under CDM 2015 on building/refurbishment works, ideally with Principal Designer exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of buildings, including building pathology.
• Experience of managing and developing surveyors or other technical professionals.
• Experience of managing contractors on major/specialist/insurance works, including change control and variations.
• Experience of managing a substantial budget with focus on ROI.
• Knowledge of damp and mould and landlords' duties including HHSRS under Awaab's Law

Responsabilidades

• Oversee major works and specialist repairs to ensure safety, timeliness and budget adherence with minimal customer disruption.
• Manage insurance works from first visit to completion after events like flood or fire.
• Ensure CDM 2015 duties are met across projects and roles.
• Guide responses to damp, mould, disrepair and HHSRS within legal timescales.
• Manage contractors and in-house team to maximise value on every job.
• Budget management with clear reporting to Executive Team and boards.
• Collaborate with procurement and partners within governance frameworks.
• Lead Section 20 consultations with leaseholders for block works.
• Use feedback and new tech to improve how we work.
• Coach and develop Project Surveyors through regular reviews
