Contracts Manager Major and Specialist Repairs
£54,336 per annum + benefits | The Maltings, Bath | Hybrid
Full Time | Permanent | 37 hours per week
Your Expertise. Our Investment. Safer Homes Across the South West.
Help shape the future of major and specialist repairs at Curo. As our Contracts Manager, you’ll oversee more than £5m of work a year, with the scope to make homes safer, improve the customer experience and make lasting changes to how we work.
With a team of Project Surveyors, you’ll grow our in-house capability, delivering more work ourselves and using external contractors where they add value most. From flood and fire reinstatement to damp and mould and whole-block projects, you’ll shape how work is planned, managed and delivered, with the backing to make real changes.
Curo is entering an exciting new chapter, with fresh opportunities to develop our services and our people. If you’re a building surveyor, engineer or major works manager who enjoys solving problems, developing teams and turning ideas into results, this is your chance to influence what comes next and grow with us.
You might be a building surveyor, engineer, architect, project or asset manager, or already work as a contracts or major works manager. You don’t need a housing background. Commercial property, insurance works and other asset-heavy sectors are just as welcome.
You’re organised and work well within clear processes. You communicate clearly with everyone from the board to your own team. You think commercially and question how things have always been done. And you never forget that behind every project is someone’s home.
Beyond a salary of £54,336 and the chance to make a real difference every day, you’ll get:
We’re a leading South West housing association with social purpose at our heart. We provide affordable homes and create positive futures in our communities. We’re proud to be among the UK’s top 100 companies to work for, and the 5th best housing association nationwide.
We actively welcome applications from candidates who identify as disabled, LGBTQ+, from ethnic minority backgrounds, and from our Curo customers.
We’re committed to making our recruitment process accessible to everyone - if you need any adjustments to help you apply or interview, please contact our recruitment team at recruitment@curo-group.co.uk
