Job summary

Rogers McHugh in Central London is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through handover. You will chair cross‑disciplinary teams, manage Buildability, cost and programme, and maintain key client and consultant relationships.

You will drive design development under JCT Design and Build, apply PCSA processes, monitor budgets and risks, and ensure compliance with Building Safety Regulator requirements while delivering safe, on‑time projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contracts Manager in construction, from preconstruction to handover.
• Experience with Design and Build contracts, especially JCT Design and Build.
• Understanding of PCSA process and design development, buildability reviews and risk identification.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through delivery and handover.
• Review buildability, develop programmes, identify risks, and prepare on site readiness.
• Coordinate design teams with architects, engineers and consultants.
• Manage Building Safety Regulator requirements and Gateway 2 submissions.
• Monitor budgets, procurement strategies and financial risks with the commercial team.
• Oversee Project Managers and Site Managers, ensuring safety, programme adherence and quality.
