Job summary

ELFT is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee robust income contracting and compliance across the Trust. You will ensure contracts meet agreed quality and core performance standards, with regular reviews to safeguard financial viability.

Reporting to the Contracts Lead and Associate Director of Commercial Development, you will build strong relationships with Commissioners, draft formal documents, maintain a contract repository, and coordinate responses within a corporate contracting function.

Qualifications

• Graduate or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject, such as business, finance
• Experience in developing formal contract documents and schedules
• Knowledge of contract management systems and NHS contracts guidance

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage contracts and variations to meet service requirements
• Maintain a contract repository with an audit trail for contracting activities
• Coordinate responses within a corporate-led contracting function
• Examine proposed contracts to assess potential efficiency, quality and value
• Ensure contract documentation is updated and accessible in relevant systems
