Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple groundworks and civil engineering projects across Nottingham and the East Midlands.

You will manage site teams, monitor programmes and budgets, and ensure works are delivered to contract requirements. The role suits a seasoned professional with a strong background in groundworks, earthworks, drainage, roads and sewers, and willingness to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Contracts Manager in groundworks/civil engineering.
• Proven ability to oversee multiple projects with £1m–£15m+ values.
• Strong contractual and commercial awareness (cost control, valuations, final accounts).

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple groundworks and civil projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Manage Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors to meet safety, time and budget targets.
• Monitor programmes, budgets and productivity; report progress to stakeholders.
